Traditional Jewish - Yemeni pull apart bread. Baked all night on a very low temperature. Served with Schug, grated tomatoes and hard boiled egg.
The perfect brunch dish!
Sambusak is usually deep fried but this recipe won't need that. Just as delicious as the fried version (if not more), we will make the dough together, rising it and stuff it before baking it.
What's beautiful about this recipe is that you can make loads of these and freeze them before you bake. This way you could defrost some whenever you'd like and bake them fresh when you crave them.
Join me for a one of a kind class.
Here we go again. My mom's most famous cheesecake.
Baked from one hour and has way more cheese than crust, this cake is so delicious and fluffy you won't stop eating it and make it over and over again.
Traditional Moroccan spicy (or not) fish balls cooked in hearty tomato and bell pepper sauce.
Served with herby rice or mashed potatoes, this is one of Shabbat dinner's ultimate dishes.
This traditional Yemenite Jewish bread is very popular in Israel. Kubaneh is traditionally baked overnight to be served for Shabbat morning. We will shorten the process and bake it together.
It will be accompanied by a dip to go with.
Hummus needs to be done from scratch. I never understood why we buy the one in the supermarket. It doesn't even taste like hummus, it contains way too many ingredients and it's not really fresh.
I'll teach you all the secrets that goes into making a perfect, homemade, real hummus and we will top it with extraordinary chickballs.
Try beat that!
Sabich is probably my favorite sandwich. Pita pocket stuffed with fried eggplant, tahini, hard boiled egg, chopped Israeli salad and a lot more that I added to it.
How can you even go wrong??
Spending so much time in London, I understand now what the fuss is all about when people are craving Fish N Chips.
Yet, it needs to be done perfectly. The batter must be on spot in order for the crispiness and texture to come out exactly how you want it to taste and feel like.
Can't wait for this class!
Possibly one of my favorite pastry recipes I created.
Buttery, crispy and delicious. Stuffed with beautiful mixture of 3 kinds of cheese and topped with seeds & spices.
Join me for another great baking session.
Forget about baklava!!
Sticky semolina cake with rose water OR orange blossom.
Pistachio, roses and lots of love from this Egyptian dessert that was made by my grandmother every week.
TBA 10:00 AM PST
Take the NY cheesecake and put a twist on it.
This one has my signature, middle eastern touch on it.
Kataifi is so popular in the middle east.
We make baklava from it, knafeh and even savory dishes.
I find it so suitable to go as a base for this creamy, delicious cheesecake and I'm sure you will too.
Join me for another great class.
